Hi ,

When we come up against difficulties, that’s the time when we can grow, when we can wake up and be the person we always dreamed of being: strong and fearless. We’re like plants in that way. They struggle up through the soil, and eventually reach the sunlight, and it’s the struggle that makes them strong and fearless. So for the month of April, let’s be like a plant. Let’s keep reaching for the light, for the warm thought, for the enlightening moment and for the sunny side of life.

I know, it sounds a bit corny, but why not be a bit corny. There’s so much ‘reality’ going around. Banks failing, people being greedy, homes being lost, and relationships being torn asunder. Maybe it’s time to look at the other reality: human beings are amazing, and we can do anything we put our attention to. Its time now for optimism and a new thought. We’re okay and we will continue to be okay.

Here’s the truth. You were born and you grew up and you have lived a life. You will continue to live your life and the most important thing you have is choice. You can choose to live in fear, or to live fearlessly. What does that mean? Well, here are some tips to living fearlessly, with courage and with optimism running through your veins:

1. Wake up each morning and be thankful for at least one thing.
2. Make eye contact with another human being and say good morning as if you mean it; “Good Morning!”
3. Smile at one person before 9:00 am.
4. Tell one person that you love them before 12:00 noon.
5. Be thankful for five things in your life by 3:00 pm.
6. Eat at least one healthy meal during the day.
7. Take a walk or exercise in some way for at least 20 minutes before you go to bed.
8. Say thank you to your boss for something they do well.
9. Encourage a co-worker by telling them one thing you appreciate about them.
10. Before you go to bed, think of one thing that you are grateful for.

Living a fearless life is about doing small things in a great way. It’s about filling the spaces in your life with good thoughts. It’s about being an encourager for yourself and for others. Living a fearless life is not about being greedy it is about loving what you have, and being thankful for your life and everyone that is in it.
