Hi , |

Here I am in Chicago where the weather over the last few weeks has been interesting to say the least. We’ve gone from ninety degrees to fifty, from bright sunshine to torrential storms. So I got to thinking about how the weather is just like life. Life is really unpredictable. Everything can be doing well and on the right course, having a great time, and then suddenly, within weeks you’re out of a job. Or someone close to you has a real personal problem. Or your relationship is shaky, just like the weather.
And we all know that we can’t change the weather, so the only thing that I can change is the way that I look at my life. Do I cave into the misery, or do I look at it from a different perspective. If I’ve just lost my job, I can say, “Wow this is a great opportunity to look at what I would like to do for the rest of my life?” From this disaster I can grow into a better human being. Because I’ll get the chance to do something I really love doing.
And remember, from the ashes of disaster, grow the roses of success.
Rock N Roll.
