TEAM THINK combines business theory with hands on experience to create a workshop in which individuals leverage their own strengths with the resources available in their environment. It provides participants the tools to act in the moment in a way that improves and strengthens all processes, goals and strategies-now and in the future.

In this workshop, participants can expect facilitators who have taught business management classes at some of the top universities including Duke, UCLA, and Georgetown, as well as Fortune 500 corporations worldwide. The learning exercises are designed to enable participants to commit to a shared vision, drop inhibitions and to think creatively on their feet.

Objectives

At the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Create strong and diverse teams
  • Build trust and support
  • Suspend judgment
  • Use active listening skills
  • Successfully provide feedback
  • Adapt to any situation
  • Utilize quick problem solving techniques
  • Make sense of ambiguous data
  • Shed inhibitions
  • Enhance concentration
  • Improve communication
  • Shift between leading, following and delegating
  • Show sensitivity towards the role of status
  • Oh, and by the way, have fun

Learning Outcomes

  1. Create a safe environment that fosters open communication and creativity through non-judgment, agreement, conversation and debate
  2. Share thoughts, questions, concerns, agreements and disagreements in the spirit of team building
  3. Be the observer not the absorber
  4. Listen for and recognize offers that reveal ‘in the moment’ opportunities to build and grow relationships
  5. Successfully respond to unpredictable, uncontrollable and unchangeable factors
  6. Operate with a collaborative and creative spirit to minimize confusion and maximize openness
  7. Suspend judgment of yourself and others
